The City of Armadale’s Plants for Residents Program returns in 2026, offering free native and waterwise plants to help create greener, cooler gardens at home.

This initiative supports the enhancement of our urban canopy, promotes local biodiversity, and contributes to greener, cooler neighbourhoods across the city.

Date: 24 May 2026

Location: Champion Centre - 76 Champion Drive, Seville Grove (Next to the Seville Grove library)

Ticket Registration Opens: 7 April at 9:00am via Humanitix


Plant Packs

Each plant pack includes 10 tubestock plants (two of each species).

Residents can select from one of the following plant packs:

  1. Darling Scarp Pack
  2. Groundcover Pack
  3. Pocket Garden Pack
  4. Wildflower Pack

Eligibility

  • Available to residents within the City of Armadale only
  • Limited to one plant pack per residential household
  • Proof of residency is required upon collection

Registration

This is a ticketed event through Humanitix. Residents must register to attend this event.

  • Due to high demand, tickets fill fast.
  • If you don't have computer access, please contact the environment team to arrange registration assistance.

Collection Times

Residents can select one of the following collection time slots:

  • 8:00-8:30 am
  • 9:00-9:30 am
  • 10:00-10:30 am
  • 11:00-11:30 am
  • 12:00-12:30 pm

Plants must be collected on the day, as storage is not available after the event.

Parking

  • General parking is available at the Coles North Armadale carpark
  • ACROD parking is available at the Champion Centre (prior arrangement required) please contact us for a parking permit Contact bewg@armadale.wa.gov.au

*Please note: These plants are not intended for verge planting. Residents wishing to request a verge tree are encouraged to visit Engage Armadale - Street Tree Request Program

💡 Since the program's first year in 2017, the City has given away more than 35,000 native plants and seedlings to local residents.
