How do I register?

Registration must be completed through Humantix. There are 1,200 tickets available, distributed across 6 plant packs, each with 4 timeslot options for you to choose from.

This is a first-come, first-served situation, and once the tickets are gone, we will have a waitlist available.

If you experience difficulties accessing Humantix, please email us, and we will assist with your registration.

Residents will need to provide proof of their address. Please note that only one plant pack is offered per residential address, not per person living at the same address.

Can I order multiple tickets for each member of my household?

Each residential address is eligible for one plant pack, which includes up to 10 plants. Only one ticket is available per household, and only one time slot is allowed for ordering and attendance.

How do I know which plants are available?

A full list of the plant species in each pack is available on our Engage page under the 'Documents' section, where you can download it. Please note that species may change due to unforeseen circumstances at the nurseries, which are beyond our control.

Do I need to be a resident of the City of Armadale to take part?

Yes, you must be a resident or school within the City of Armadale to participate.

How do I prove I am a resident of the City of Armadale?

You can prove your residency with photo ID (such as your driver’s licence) and/or an ID that lists your physical address or your rates notice.

Can I pick up my plants early?

Unfortunately, plants cannot be picked up early. You are required to collect your plants on the designated collection day. However, you may nominate someone to collect your plants on your behalf. Please contact the Environmental Officer to arrange this at: bewg@armadale.wa.gov.au

What happens if I do not collect my plants on the day?

If you do not collect your plants on the scheduled day, they may be reassigned to other residents. Please ensure you collect them during your allocated time.

I won’t be able to make my booked time slot on pick-up day, what can I do?

You may nominate someone to collect your plants on your behalf. Please contact the Environmental Officer to arrange this at: bewg@armadale.wa.gov.au. Unfortunately, if you realise on the day of collection that you cannot attend, your pack will be reassigned to residents on the waitlist.

What if I missed out on registering? Can I still turn up and get plants?

Registration is required to reserve your plants. If you miss out on registering, you will not be able to collect plants unless you are on the waitlist, which has limited spots. Those on the waitlist will be contacted on the day if any plant packs become available. Waitlist collections will be available between 11:00 and 11:30 AM.

Are the plants harmful to my cat/dog?

The plants provided in the Plants for Residents Program are native and generally non-toxic to most pets. However, it’s always a good idea to monitor pets when introducing new plants to your garden. If you have concerns, you can contact the Animal Poisons Information Hotline at 1300 869 738 for general enquiries.

How do I find my plants on the day?

Upon arrival, please proceed to the signposted registration desk where you will receive further instructions. Our staff will be onsite to assist you, and clear signage will guide you to the correct location.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Is there ACROD parking available?

This is a wheelchair-friendly event. There will be ACROD parking available; however, you will need to obtain a parking permit prior to the event day.
