The City of Armadale was one of the first Councils in WA to develop an Urban Forest Strategy. It's a five-year strategy that plans our urban forests, urban canopy cover, and floral growth and sustainability across our community.
It's a vital way that we plan and protect our natural environment, and the City is currently reviewing our Urban Forest Strategy for the next five year period.
We're inviting the community to provide feedback on how we can continue to grow and nurture our urban canopy, and we need your help to make our City a greener, cooler, and more vibrant place to live.
How can I get involved?
Please complete our online survey.
The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and will help inform how, where and what we plant in the community in order to improve our urban landscape, parks and gardens.
Prefer to chat in-person?
An informal drop-in session will be held on Thursday, 28 November from 2pm to 4pm at Robot Park (Doryanthes Ave, Piara Waters 6112). Feel free to contact us if you'd like more information leading up to the session.
Consultation closes at 5.00pm Sunday 15 December 2024
