What will be installed as part of the replacement?
Following the completion of Stage 1, a concept plan will be developed that is based on community feedback from the completed surveys.
Community feedback has resulted in a new park area that includes;
- all ages playground including a tall slide and climbing elements
- double swing set
- ball toss, king square court and pavement games
- shade sails
- new picnic shelter relocated closer to the playground
- renewed park benches
- tree planting and irrigation modifications
Will anything from the current space be removed?
The existing playground and picnic shelter will be removed and replaced with a new playground.
When will the park upgrade be complete?
Works is anticipated to finish early in January 2027.
