Our annual, free Native Plants for Residents initiative offers a variety of flora to the community to create a greener and more sustainable Armadale. This event is usually held early May each year.
🦉 The native plants provided will help expand the urban forest in our city and support wildlife.
🌱 The native seedling species have been selected based on their long-term growth potential and survival capacity to suit the local soil and climate. These plants sustain our unique biodiversity, grow well, establish quickly, and are waterwise.
💡 Since the program's first year in 2017, the City has given away more than 35,000 native plants and seedlings to local residents.
Did you attend this year's event? If so, we'd love your feedback. Please complete our survey below to let us know what we did well and what we can work on for next year.
