The Multicultural Advisory Group (MAG) was launched in 2020 and provides a forum where representatives of multicultural communities can raise concerns and provide ideas and suggestions to the City for a more inclusive and cohesive community.
MAG also have the opportunity to be involved in small projects that increase awareness of cultural diversity in the Armadale community and increase social connections for members.
The group is made up of leaders, organisation representatives and passionate individuals from across the City of Armadale. Members have come to Australia from 16 different countries and/ or cultural backgrounds.

The City is exploring the potential establishment of a new professional network focused on supporting our growing migrant and multicultural community. Modelled on our other successful sector networks an Armadale Multicultural Network would give practitioners and organisations a regular space to:
share information on programs, services and referral pathways
Identify service gaps and duplication
Collaborate on joint initiatives and events
Build relationships across the sector
Stay informed on emerging needs within Armadale's migrant population
If you might be interested in joining anArmadale Multicultural Network please subscribe here, keeping in mind this is not currently an active network but it will allow us to gauge interest and keep you informed of the progress, along with you automatically being subscribed if it does go ahead.
