What is Equine Road Safety?

Equine Road Safety considers that, particularly on semi-rural roads, there is a likelihood that cars and bikes will be sharing the roads with those on horseback. The goal of the Equine Road Safety campaign is to help ensure road users have the knowledge to ‘make every journey safe’.

Why is Equine Road Safety important?

Everyone deserves to feel safe and confident on our roads, and by spreading awareness through this campaign, we hope to ensure everyone knows the appropriate way to behave when faced with other road users on their journeys.

Why are the CoA running this campaign?

In line with our friends over at in SSJ, we’re taking the opportunity to spread an important awareness message for the safety of all road users.
