Application for Development Approval - Bulk Earthworks - Lot 9012 Jayes Road, Piara Waters

The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which involves the following:

  1. Stripping of topsoil to be stockpiled within the site.
  2. The importation and spreading of approximately 101,533 cubic metres of clean fill sand to a maximum approximate height of 3 metres above natural ground level.
  3. Blending of soils on site with clean imported fill, to improve quality of in situ soils and infiltration characteristics.

The application is being advertised to nearby/adjoining residents for comment because the application proposes a land use that does not fit within any listed land uses in the Zoning Table of the City’s Town Planning Scheme No.4 (‘TPS No.4’). Accordingly the proposed land use is to be dealt with as an ‘unlisted land use’, which the City must advertise for public comment.

As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment. Should you wish to make comment please complete the online submission or download the PDF version available from the Documents section of this page and return it to this office no later than Tuesday 23 August 2022.

Further details are available for viewing at the City’s Administration Building between the hours of 8.15am and 4.45pm Monday to Friday.
