Join Us for National Tree Day at Kuhl Park

The City of Armadale is inviting the community to roll up their sleeves and help make a lasting difference to our local environment this National Tree Day.

Join us on Sunday 26 July 2026 from 9.00am to 12.00pm at Kuhl Park, Kelmscott, where volunteers will help plant 4,000 native seedlings to restore an important drainage area and enhance local biodiversity.

National Tree Day is Australia's largest community tree-planting and nature care event, providing an opportunity for people of all ages to connect with nature while contributing to a greener, healthier future.

This year's planting site is located in the southern corner of Kuhl Park along Westfield Road. The restoration project will help improve habitat for native wildlife, strengthen local ecosystems and support the health of nearby waterways.

Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or planting your very first tree, everyone is welcome to get involved. The event is suitable for children, making it a great opportunity for families to spend time outdoors while giving back to the environment.

Gloves, refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to wear enclosed shoes, sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing.
