Application for Development Approval - Twelve Grouped and Multiple Dwellings - Lots 1 And 60, Nos. 343-347 Railway Avenue, Armadale
The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which involves the following variations to the Deemed to Comply (DTC) provisions of State Planning Policy 7.3 Residential Design Codes Volume 1 (R-Codes):
Nil setback (parapet) walls proposed on south eastern boundary of Lot 60 (abutting Units 3B and 5A Friar Road);
Nil setback (parapet) walls proposed on north western boundary of Lot 1 (abutting No. 341 Railway Avenue);
Nil setback (parapet) walls proposed on south west boundary of Lot 1 (abutting No. 14 Gladstone Road);
Two storey high wall with major openings, 14 metres long with a 2 metre set back from the side boundary (R-Codes DTC provisions require a 6 metre privacy setback to the first floor) - (abutting Units 1 and 3A Friar Road);
As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment. Should you wish to make comment please complete the attached submission form and return it to this office no later than 29 August 2023.
