Application for Development Approval - Change of Use to Place of Worship - Lot 500, No. 8 Wygonda Road, Roleystone

The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which involves the following:

  1. Change of Use from ‘Recreation-Private’ (former squash courts) to ‘Place of Worship’ (which is an ‘A’ use in the Residential zone)
  2. Primary service 10am – midday on Sunday (weekly – approx. 120 persons)
  3. Monthly Sunday evening meeting at 6pm (approx. 50-70 persons).
  4. Mid week services on Wednesday and Friday
  5. Youth group meet on Saturday (approx. 20 persons)
  6. Community meetings 2-3 meetings per week (approx. 20 persons)
  7. Counselling services for members of the congregation (individuals or family group – as required)
  8. Existing single dwelling to be retained and operated as dwelling at rear of site
  9. Utilise the existing 24 car bays, plus provision of additional 7 car bays (including 2 ACROD bays)
