Application for Development Approval - Amendment to DA 10.2018.166.1 - Extension of Pindari Restoration House - Lot 41, No. 61 Nelson Street, Bedfordale
The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which includes the following modifications to the existing Pindari Restoration House (a residential rehabilitation facility):
Increasing the maximum permitted number of residents from six (6) to fifteen (15);
Construction of a new accommodation unit for an afterhours caretaker;
Conversion of current caretaker’s residence to accommodation for clients and house leader, extension to existing Storeroom and relocation of existing Office unit;
The applicant advises that “ _Pindari House currently operates under planning approval from the City of Armadale for a change of use to a community purpose use at Lot 41 (61 Nelson Street, Bedfordale), for a residential rehabilitation facility with a limit of six residents. Given our program’s evolution, the expertise of our staff, and our growing community impact, we seek approval to increase our capacity to fifteen residents_”.
As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment. Should you wish to make comment please complete the attached submission form and return it to this office no later than 15 September 2025.
