Application for Development Approval - Extension and Alterations to Existing Dwelling - Lot 12 - 1301 Brookton Highway Karragullen

  1. Alterations and extensions to the existing single house, including an upper-floor addition, new carport, balcony and retaining works.

  2. Associated changes to the façade and finishes of the dwelling; and

  3. Upgrading of site works including new post-and-rail fencing and stone-pitched retaining.

In reviewing the proposal, it has been identified that the northern boundary setback does not comply with the minimum setback requirements of Town Planning Scheme No. 4 (Part 4B – General Rural Zone). In accordance with Clauses 4.1 and 4.5 of TPS No. 4, the City is required to advertise this variation to potentially affected adjoining landowners before making a determination.

As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment. Should you wish to make comment please complete the online submission form and return it to this office no later than 17 October 2025.
