Exciting times ahead!

The playground at Creyk Park is being rejuvenated and this is your chance to play a part in the adventure!

How can I be involved?

We value your input. If you’re a local resident or Creyk Park enthusiast, your ideas can help shape the future of play and park use at Creyk Park. We’re eager to collaborate with you in designing a playground that reflects what the community wants.

The City will be running a three-stage engagement process, allowing you to follow along with the project journey on this page.

Stage 1. Survey – Now Open!

Take part in the survey below to help us understand what you like or dislike about the play space at Creyk Park.

Following feedback received from the survey, a concept plan will be developed and provided back to the community for comment as part of the second stage of consultation.

Survey Summary

Stage One of the consultation ran for three weeks and encouraged residents and park users to complete a survey.

Key findings revealed that residents loved the location of the playground with the surroundings of the oval and facilities, however, the current play space was not age appropriate and lacked inclusive play opportunities.

These insights will now inform the development of a concept plan, which will be shared in Stage Two of the consultation.

Stage 2. Concept Consultation - Now Open!

Following the surveys feedback. A concept plan has been developed that embodies the community's request for a modern play space.

You can expect to see:

  • A new all ages playground unit featuring an access ramp, multiple slides, activity panels, steppers, climbing frames, rope bridges, sensory play and more!
  • Musical rainbow chimes.
  • Double swing with toddler seat.
  • Group springer.
  • All Ability Carousel with rubber soft fall access.

Check out the proposed concept plan in the documents tab to the right. Feel free to share your thoughts below or email the Park Design team directly parkdesign@armadale.wa.gov.au

Stage 3. Notification of works commencing.

Expected early to mid-2027.
