Application for Planning Approval - JDAP - Child Care Centre - Lot 2 Centre Road Camillo 6110

The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which involves the following:

• Early learning child care centre:

  • Accommodating up to 100 children aged 0 - 5 years;

  • Hours of operation 6.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday;

• Construction of new facility comprising:

  • Newly portioned lot of 2464sqm adjacent to existing John Wollaston School;

  • L-shaped single storey building, approx. 760sqm floor area;

  • Approx. 700sqm of outdoor playspace on the north western side of the building;

  • Provision of 27 car parking bays fronting Centre Road;

  • Vehicle access from Centre Road;

  • Associated landscaping of car park and outdoor playspace

Please note that the land is reserved Public Purpose (Hospital) Reserve in the Metropolitan Regions Scheme, therefore this application will be determined by the Western Australian Planning Commission. The City will make a recommendation to the WAPC. Any submissions received will be forwarded to the WAPC.

As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment.
