Exciting times ahead!

The playground at Bandin Reserve, formerly Jim & Alma Baker Park, is being rejuvenated and this is your chance to play a part in the adventure.

How can I be involved?

We value your input. If you’re a local resident or Bandin Reserve enthusiast, your ideas can help shape the future of play and park use at Bandin Reserve. We’re eager to collaborate with you in designing a playground that reflects what the community wants.

The City will be running a three-stage engagement process, allowing you to follow along with the project journey on this page.

Stage 1. Survey – Now Closed.

Take part in the survey below to help us understand what you like or dislike about the play space at Bandin Reserve.

Following feedback received from the survey, a concept plan will be developed and provided back to the community for comment as part of the second stage of consultation.

Stage 2. Concept Consultation.

Expected mid-2026.

Stage 3. Notification of works commencing.

Expected early to mid-2027.
