Application for Development Approval - Amendment to DA 10.2025.5.1 (Metallurgical Testing Facility) - Proposed Drop Tower - Lot 1, No. 45 Owen Road, Kelmscott

The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which involves the following:

1. A metallurgical drop tower (in addition to the previously approved metallurgical testing facility);

The application is supported by:

  • Amended development plans including a 21.2m high tower at the rear of the site;
  • Covering letter outlining operational matters;
  • Amended Acoustic Assessment;
  • Amended Environmental Waste Management Plan;
  • Visual Impact Assessment.

As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment. Should you wish to make comment please complete the attached submission form and return it to this office no later than 16 December 2025.

Further details are available for viewing at the City’s Administration Building between the hours of 8.15am and 4.45pm Monday to Friday. Submissions can be submitted to info@armadale.wa.gov.au.
