Application for Development Approval - Change of Use - Place of Worship - 7 Waterwheel Road, Bedfordale - 10.2023.76.1
The City has received an application for the abovementioned proposal, which involves the following:
Change of Use of existing shed to Place of Worship (approx. 244sqm);
Existing single dwelling is to be retained and remain as residential use;
Approximately 40 persons during worship services;
Weekly worship service (approximately 1 hour long) to be held at 6am Sunday morning, with secondary services to be held monthly at 5pm on Sunday and 7pm on Fridays;
Weekly prayer meetings at 7pm on Mondays;
Alterations to existing driveway, and provision of eleven (11) car bays;
Minor alterations to existing building to extend awning and remove roller doors and internal works; and
Addition of an onsite effluent disposal system and 50,000L water tank to accommodate capacity for additional persons on site
As an adjoining or nearby landowner, the proposal has been referred to you for comment. Should you wish to make comment please complete the attached submission form and return it to this office no later than 1 September 2023.
