Application for Development Approval - Alterations and Additions to Place of Worship - 68 Seville Drive Seville Grove

The City has received an application which involves alterations and additions to an existing Place of Worship at the above mentioned property.

The applicant proposes the following alterations and additions to the existing Place of Worship:

• Use of existing church:
  • Internal to the main hall (revised floor slope / orientation)
  • 2 services held every Sunday, and Xmas Day and Good Friday.
    • 1st service 9am - 11am
    • 2nd service 3:30pm til 5:30pm.
• Additional transportable located behind existing building line and 2m setback from boundary. Transportable to be used for creche facilities and Study Club meetings
  • Creche facilities during service times. 15 - 25 children, 6 months to 4 years old.
  • Playground area is to be used exclusively for the creche only.
• Study Club meetings during the week in the existing Church building and proposed transportable, maximum 50 people in attendance:
  • During the day
  • Evening meetings 7pm - 11pm
• Patio structure replacing existing portico
