Why is the City of Armadale running this competition?
As well as wanting to foster and strengthen community spirit, the City of Armadale really wants to light up the lives of the young, and the young at heart, by injecting some Christmas cheer into our community this Christmas and holding another exciting Christmas Lights Trail competition.
What do I have to do?
Decorate the outside of your home and front yard with heaps of festive decorations, twinkling lights, giant Santa’s, oversized reindeers and as many metres of fairy lights as you can muster! Our competition is all about putting the sparkle in our community this Christmas.
What are the prizes that are up for grabs?

Many of the vouchers have been selected from local businesses who are members of the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.

Whilst you can use your own creative flair to the full any way you choose, don't forget that the prize for this year's best solar/green home is now $750 in cash. This category reinforces the City’s own focus on sustainability in our everyday operations.
When will winners be chosen?
This year’s 2023 competition will close on 12 December, and winners will be invited to attend a council meeting on 18 December to receive their cash prizes and also vouchers from local businesses, all of whom are members of the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.
