Have your say on Park Improvement Projects for the next year

We plan to improve seven (7) parks this year and would like your feedback.
The following parks are due for improvements:

Installation of shade sails, adding shelters and seating, installing a basketball goal
$100,000
George Foster Reserve
Installation of recreation improvements such as a playground or exercise equipment
$75,000
Massell Park
Shelter and seating
$75,000
Matron Olive Galliers Park
Install informal goals for a casual kickabout space, adding shelter and seating
Extend the current footpaths to tie into existing path network to the bench seat and street path network
$45,000
A copy of the draft plans for each of the above parks is available in the document library (Park Improvement Projects 2022).
Let us know what you think
We’re asking the local community and residents for their feedback on the proposed improvements.
We’re want to know what you think of the design, who uses the space right now, what works and what doesn’t. We’d also like to hear any ideas/suggestions you have for the parks for now and into the future.
You will be able to provide your feedback by completing an online survey or collect a hard copy at one our libraries. The City encourages all community members (from the youngest family members to the oldest) to provide input on the upcoming improvements.
While we may not be able to accommodate all requests, we value your opinion and are appreciative of your feedback.
What happens next?
The City will use this feedback to finalise the concept plans in preparation for delivery of these projects commencing on site over the coming year.
